Who we are
This website, www.travelteam.bd, is run by Travel Team Ltd., a travel agency based in Dhaka, Bangladesh ("Travel Team", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information described here.

What we collect
- Account details — if you create an account: your e-mail address and a password (stored encrypted by our sign-in provider). If you choose "Continue with Google": your name, e-mail address and profile picture, as shared by Google.
- Enquiries — when you tap Enquire, Book, Select or Send a Visa Inquiry, we record what you were looking at (for example the visa offer, flight route, hotel or package, dates and price shown) and, if you arrived from one of our adverts or posts, the campaign tag in the link (such as "facebook"). The WhatsApp message itself goes through WhatsApp, not our website.
- Reviews — the name, star rating, comment, service and destination you enter. Reviews are published only after we approve them, with the name you chose.
- Visa-expert requests and applications — the details you type into those forms (such as the country, tasks, notes and how to contact you; or, for expert applications, your name, e-mail, phone, city, services and experience).
- Searches — the destinations, dates and traveller numbers you search for, which we pass to travel suppliers to fetch prices. We do not use them to identify you.
- Technical data — your IP address and basic request information, used to protect the site from abuse (for example limiting repeated requests and blocking attacks).
Stored in your own browser
Some things are saved only on your device and never sent to us: your theme choice, the documents you tick on a visa checklist, how many free searches you have used, and a record of your cookie choice. Clearing your browser data removes them.
We use only essential cookies and storage needed for the site to work (such as keeping you signed in). If we add visitor statistics in future, they will run only if you allow "Analytics" in the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange the flights, hotels, visas, transfers, activities or packages you ask about.
- To run your account and keep it secure.
- To show approved customer reviews on the site.
- To understand which offers and adverts people respond to, so we can improve our services.
- To protect the website and our customers from fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to contact you.
Who we share it with
- Travel suppliers — airlines, hotels, transfer and activity providers and booking systems — only as needed to quote or book what you ask for.
- Embassies, consulates and visa application centres — when we submit a visa application on your behalf, with your agreement.
- Service providers that run the website for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Render (our server), Cloudflare (security and delivery) and Google (only if you use "Continue with Google"). They process data on our behalf, and some of it is stored on servers outside Bangladesh.
- Authorities — if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and requests are kept for as long as needed to serve you and for our business records, normally up to 3 years. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete the account. Reviews stay published until you or we remove them. Security logs are kept only briefly.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it, or to delete it (including your account or a review you wrote).
- Change your cookie choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to our database is restricted, and only authorised Travel Team staff can see enquiries and requests. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passport scans or payment card details through website forms — our team will tell you a safe way to share documents.
Children
The website is meant for adults arranging travel. Children’s details (for example for a family booking) should be given by a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
