INDONESIA VISA REQUIREMENTS
FIRST Step (Embassy Appointment):
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Dhaka will implement a new online appointment system for visa application starting on 4 January 2026.
Applicants must book an appointment via this link: https://indonesiavisa-dhaka.org
Note:
- The new online visa appointment system is already working and applicants can schedule appointment in advance;
- Walk in visa application is permanently closed.
Important Tips: Apply early (2+ months before)
Common Requirements
- Passport (original + copy, 6+ months validity, 2 blank pages); Personal details (Full Name, DOB, Gender, Nationality, Contact)
- 2 COPIES PASSPORT SIZE COLOR PHOTOGRAPH, WITH WHITE BACKGROUND TAKEN WITHIN THE LAST 03 MONTHS.
- Travel History: at least 1 previous travel history (maximum 10) of past 5 years (Table or list in one page)
- PROOF OF FUNDS OF AT LEAST (USD $2000 TWO THOUSAND US DOLLARS or 2.5 Lac BDT) WITHIN THE LAST 06 MONTHS ALONG WITH BANK SOLVENCY CERTIFICATE
- + Original bank cheque
- Confirmed ticket (30 working days ahead of submission)
- Confirmed hotel booking (with email confirmation)
- Cover letter with purpose
- Travel insurance
- CHEQUE BOOK COPY : A clear copy of a blank cheque page from the account for which you are submitting the statement.
- LETTER OF DECLARATION – will be provided by Travel Team
- NOTE: TO APPLY BUSINESS VISA NEED TO BUSINESS INVITATION & INVITING PERSON DOCUMENTS FOR PROOF OF BUSINESS.
Business Visa
- TRADE LICENSE UPDATE (IF HAVE BANGLA PLEASE PROVIDE AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION WITH A NOTARY COPY ATTACHED WITH A BANGLA COPY), Company contact number and email address, Company Website/Profile Link (if applicable)
- BUSINESS PAD 02 COPY
- MEMORANDUM OF ARTICLES COPY WHEN NOT MENTIONING PROPRIETOR/MANAGING DIRECTOR NAME OF THE TRADE LICENSE
- VISITING CARD COPY
- TIN CERTIFICATE
Student Visa
- STUDENT ID CARD
- NOC FROM SCHOOL/COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY
- WHEN ANY STUDENT APPLIES INDIVIDUALLY, MUST PROVIDE HIS FATHER WITH ALL DOCUMENTS
FOR HOUSEWIVES:
- PROVIDE THE HUSBAND’S DOCUMENTS

- NID
- Marriage certificate (if spouse joining)
- Birth certificate (for infant & child)
Work Visa
- NOC/Letter from institution or company, Office contact number and email address, Link/Company Profile (if applicable)

- Note: Delivery time is approx. 30 days or depending on Embassy (excluding weekends/holidays)
- Note: Visa validity 2 months, single entry
- Note: TYPE OF VISA: STICKER VISA - TOURIST
- Note: Visa rate can be changed without prior notice
- Note: Visa issuance rights reserved by the Embassy
- Note: VISA Fee: 9,000- BDT. ST Processing Fee: 1500/- BDT. + Travel health insurance (as per age & stay duration)
- Note: Before arrival, all Foreign Visitor entering Indonesia by Air, Land, or sea must complete the Digital Declaration online. Register within 3 days before arrival. http://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/
Indonesia Visa Checklist for Bangladeshi Applicants
- Passport valid at least 6 months beyond travel date
- Two recent passport-size photographs (white background)
- Completed & signed visa application form
- Confirmed return flight itinerary
- Hotel booking or accommodation proof
- Bank statement — last 6 months
- Bank solvency certificate
- NID / Birth certificate copy
- Guarantor/sponsor letter (Immigration-provided template) accepting responsibility for the applicant’s stay
- Proof of funds — min. USD 2,000 via bank statement, salary slip, or fixed-deposit certificate
- e-Visa (Visit Visa index C1) applied for via the official evisa.imigrasi.go.id portal — fee approx. IDR 2,000,000
- Visa valid for entry within 90 days of issue; permits a stay of up to 60 days (extendable)
- Declared purpose of visit (tourism, family visit, business meeting) — paid employment and direct sales prohibited
